Privacy policy
This policy explains what information SSG MEDIA collects when you use ssg.media or order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order details, and the artwork and files you upload.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processors (such as Shopify Payments, Shop Pay and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site, through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To produce, ship and support your order, and to send proofs and order updates.
- To answer your questions and handle any refund or reprint.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To understand how people find and use the site so we can improve it.
- To send marketing emails or texts, only if you opt in. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't pass it along to anyone, except what's needed to make and deliver your order, or when the law requires it (such as a valid request from law enforcement).
When you place an order, the services that run our checkout and delivery (Shopify, the payment processor and the shipping carrier) capture the details they need to process and deliver your order, as part of the transaction itself, under their own privacy policies.
Services like Google Analytics, Google, Shop and ChatGPT may also collect their own standard browsing data, such as pages viewed and how you found us. If you buy through one of those platforms, the details you enter there are covered by that platform's policy.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the store will still work, though some features may not.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Residents of states with privacy laws, including New Jersey, may have additional rights under those laws. Email info@ssg.media with your request; we'll confirm your identity and respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
How long we keep it
We keep order records and your files as long as needed to support reorders and meet tax and accounting rules, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your files sooner.
Security
We use the security built into Shopify and our payment processors, and we limit who can access customer information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Children
Our site is for adults and businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
